Happy Birthday Papa

baking

lately i’ve been having fun baking stuff i find online. I even invested on some cupcake pans.

because of this new hobby, i have a new blog cupcakehunt.blogspot.com their i will mostly post all of my kitchen adventures as i am still in a search for some cupcakes for Vierte’s 1st birthday.

happy 1st to us

We are celebrating our first year anniversary today.

We’d like to go out on a date to celebrate today but since he’s working overseas we chatted/webcam last night. We miss each other so much and he misses every single day not being able to give our little prince a kiss and hug.

Coy promised that we’ll have a whole day celebration just the two of us when he come’s home. Exclusive mommy day.

After having coffee at starbucks, my work area greeted me with a bouquet of flowers inside a black paper bag. It was a surprise, as I thought the bag he sent for me was the anniversary gift already. Among the flowers Coy sent me this is my favorite!

Guilty ako cause I dont have any gift for him paano walang maayos na online store sa qatar ang weird ng mga items. Instead I’ll be sending my gift via his coWorker and kumapre of ours who’s home for vacation.

Thank you for the flower’s mahal ko!

Thank you Mister God and Mama Mary for my boys.

Jory’s back!

my bestfriend Jory is back home for good! after his 18 months stint at New York.

He’s not here in Manila right now but back home with Mamang at CDO.

waiting…

hopefully, whatever the upcoming change is it’ll be for the better…

blog world

part of my daily www routine is hopping from one blog to another.

first I open my personal email, then visit my own blog nappytales write something if di tinatamad then visit each site on my blogroll and would sometimes visit those on their blogroll as well.

today I visited some interesting blogs

KikayExchange - from the name itself it takes about how one lady should take care of oneself, beauty products and updates are available and they have an online store as well

SwipeSomeGloss - beauty stuff as well, inggit ako sa make-ups and how passionate the writer is about it. (sana I get to learn how to properly put one on me as well :)

my mom and ate are both kikay girls, i myself am kikay din naman pero not like them. both have these beauty rituals before they sleep and go out of the house.

mama once called just to tell me “anak put some make-up and make yourself pretty everyday for Coy, si papa mo wont allow me to go out of the house na hindi naka make-up”

hahaha! there are days na i do put make-up on pero basic lang and minsan parang OA ang dating for me. well, since those around me are not used to me wearing one eh kapansin pansin. my only make-up is a lip gloss or a lipstick.

i buy make-up pero i only get to use them if there’s an occassion.

i want to learn how to put make-up on!

*babaw ba? hehehehe

hello blog

aloha blog!

I’m on a night shift (2pm-10pm) for the year. Coy and I talked about it and decided that it’s favorable for the little man and I. I get to play with him in the morning and takes charge in his bath time. More bonding time with him.

I’m sick. Luckily di nahawa si Vierte, kundi Coy will be mad at me. He’s been telling me everyday not to kiss him. I can’t resist! :)

The little man knows how to turn to his tummy without any help. check out the video here

no sleep

I’ve got no sleep for two days now.

Vierte refuses to be put down, refuses to be carried by Yaya michelle or Tita Badette…. only Mommy!

Even if they manage to get him smile the moment they touch him, he cries and screams at them and stares at me like im such a bad mommy.

hay….cute cute ng anak ko pero wala akong tulog para na akong may black eye.

birth story

12:00am of October 17 I started to feel contractions which was 2hrs apart, during this time I kept bugging Coy about the pain and he kept me calm by reminding me about the lessons I’ve learned on my Childbirth class. Worried about not being able to eat atleast 2hrs before the operation I prepared myself an oatmeal, while waiting for it to get cooked I was browsing thru my childbirth handouts. *Ting* microwave signalled for my oatmeal to be cooked, as I stood up a gush of water came out of me, immediately I sent Coy an SMS “my water bag broke”, my cousin who was my aneasthesiologist and my OB was informed about the situation as well. I knocked on my aunts’ room and calmly told her that my water bag broke and I’m taking a shower. Coy was mad that I decided to take a shower instead of heading straight to the hospital. Anyway despite his protest I took a quick shower since I know that it’ll be days before I can take a bath. Dressed we called all the taxi company to no avail we coudnt get one, and my cousin was not home so nobody was available to drive me. I went back to my room to inform Auntie Bing, she literally fell down the bed when I announced that my water bag broke. We called up Auntie Virgie a family friend who promised that her husband would drive me to the hospital when the time comes, which I forgot. And so we called them up and just a few minutes after the call her husband was outside our gate waiting for us, that was about 2:00 am, I was also sending messages to friends that my bag broke. We reached UERM by 2:30am Mama Alma and I took the stairs and both of us laughing about Auntie Bing’s fall. UERM’s delivery room was at th 3rd floor, we both sat for awhile outside and even managed to take a picture (I wont post it here kasi ang pangit!). Kuya Frank texted me to go inside the delivery room since the assigned resident was already waiting for me and he’ll be coming a little later pa. With my black folder which contains all the information needed I went inside all the attendants greeted me and confirmed if I was Dr. Nacario’s cousin.
