mindburst!

Browsing thru my my mails last Monday, subject “Accident in Manila” got my attention which was sent by our HR. One of our colleague Myla Rabang was injured by a gunshot in the head by an unidentified man and is in a critical condition.

I was trying my best to picture her face, it was just this month that I got a request from her to fix the display of her monitor, and I can’t recall how she looked like. I suddenly approached Lezel and asked if she could describe Myla’s…it saddens me cause despite the physical description I still can’t picture her.

Later that evening Maan showed me a picture of her, and told me that Myla was an only child and her boyfriend was in the US and was bound to come home to ask her to marry him.

This is what I heard that happened: Myla and her cousin were driving back to their house after dropping off some friends to get a ride…on the way there were like 4 men waving for them to stop the car, some of these men where in a tricycle…scared of the men her cousin ignored the guys and drove off tapos bigla nalang she found Myla in her lap bleeding…good thing the cousin didn’t freak out and drove straight to the hospital.

Myla Rabang just passed away noontime of June 29. Condolences and prayers for the Rabang family.

Mister God. Please embrace Myla’s parents, her cousin and loved one’s that they may find the strength to keep living. Touch the heart of those who did these to her.
