50 days to go

i’ve been neglecting my blog lately because of the following reasons:

  • work! ofcourse it’ll always be one reason to be busy. office movements, projects and turn-overs in preparation for my maternity
  • birth class - yup ive started my birth class already and having fun! will write a separate entry for this.
  • check-ups, i’m visiting my ob every two weeks now

a quickie

It has been 12 days since Coy left for his training @ Dubai before he proceeds to Qatar. Thanks to technology: email, internet, and roaming phone line, and blackberry we have managed to squeeze distance quite well.

Yesterday it was Carlo my younger brother who left for Doha Qatar for work as well. Hay, my baby brother out in the world to prove his worth.

So there its back to Vierte and I in our room, lights turned on, and classical music playing as we try to get some sleep. I can’t really sleep with lights on but my Auntie Bing insists that I do since its  physically just me.

Trying not to think much of the distance, I get by each day. And when sad thoughts visits my mind I grab a pen and notebook to write them all down.

Coy’s gaining new friends in Dubai. He even had a basketball game last sunday already. He’s cooking his own meal and doing his own laundry and ironing.

My inLaws and I are constantly communicating as well which is really sweet of them.

I’m holding back tears now so I better end this post. I still have a meme to finish.
